By car:
Passo Tonale is 50 km from the A22 Brennero motorway.
From the south, take the Trento Nord exit and follow the signs for Cles, Malè, Dimaro.
From the north, exit at San Michele all'Adige, turn right onto the SS43 of Valle di Non and then the SS42 of Tonale and follow directions for Cles, Malè, Dimaro.
If coming from Milan it is more convenient to take the Brescia Est exit to Madonna di Campiglio and then follow the road for a few kilometres to Val di Sole.
By train:
Thanks to the Trento Malè Electric Railway, the Val di Sole is connected to the Trento or Mezzocorona railway stations that are on the international Munich - Rome line.
The nearest railway station is Mezzocorona. The Mezzocorona station is connected to Dimaro by the Trento-Marilleva railway.
